Welcome
I offer independant help and guidance for parents and professionals aiming to develop the communication, listening and speech skills of deaf babies and preschool children.
How can I help?
My job is to guide, coach and support families with babies and toddlers challenged by hearing loss, through the early years of discovery and success.
|
Initially there can seem a lot to learn about new subjects such as: • Understanding hearing loss and how even profoundly deaf children can learn to listen to your voice. |
My aim is to help you truly understand your options, make informed choices that you know how to evaluate and review, and to keep you moving at a pace that will enable your child to achieve age appropriate language - if that is your goal. Of course, I also use a diagnostic, evidence based approach so that you will know promptly if the addition of other techniques would help your child more.

Meeting your needsThe services I offer can be shaped to meet your specific needs, questions and challenges. I have worked with infants following newborn hearing screening through to school placement for 20 years. I have worked with pioneers in the field, state of the art technology and inspired programmes for families with hearing impaired infants. Just ask, and I will do my best for you.
